Meta unveils new tools for VSEs and SMEs to help them connect with their customers on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger.

During National Small Business Week 2022, Meta announced a number of new tools to help businesses manage conversations and ads as well as generate leads.
Indeed companies have had a lot to gain by being discovered by new customers and by having conversations using Facebook and Instagram ads that open on a WhatsApp chat, and in order to facilitate the creation of this type of ‘ads, Meta will soon allow to create complete ads directly from the WhatsApp Business 2022 application.

Meta highlighted that companies are using the company inbox that already handles customer messages on Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct in one place.
Also, Meta also plans to bring WhatsApp to Inbox so that multiple people in the same organization can manage messages from the same WhatsApp number and across multiple devices to save time and increase productivity.

Moreover, Meta is also testing a new feature in Meta Business Suite 2022 that will soon allow companies to send promotional message campaigns using Messenger to their customers.
By using lead generation tools, businesses can grow their customer base by finding new opportunities and building relationships with them.
Regarding free product quote request on Instagram, meta will allow businesses to put a “Get Quote” button on their Instagram profile as well as use “Get Quote” stickers in stories. With either option, companies can set up custom questionnaires for customers to complete before starting a conversation about a quote.

An option to create Facebook and Instagram ads directly from the WhatsApp Business app

It is already possible for companies to set up ads on Facebook and Instagram that direct users to a WhatsApp conversation. However, the creation process can be complex, as it requires going through the Ads Manager .

Today, in an official blog post, Meta announces that it will facilitate the implementation of these advertisements: “We will soon make it possible to create all advertising directly from the WhatsApp Business application. This will be faster for small businesses looking to find new customers and grow. »

New tools to generate qualified leads

Mark Zuckerberg’s firm is also announcing other new features to help small and medium-sized businesses manage prospects and customers on its platform:

  • Filtering prospects in instant forms: (Lead Ads Instant Forms), companies will be able to more easily detect the most qualified leads. Meta clarifies: “Answers to a multiple-choice question can be used to filter out leads that may not be suitable for them. »
  • A more flexible Instant Form: The goal is to allow businesses to add visuals and content to a form. With more visual information about their activity, it can spark more interest in prospects. This new form template is currently in the testing phase.
  • Exclusive content: Businesses will be able to provide additional resources to people who fill out the Instant Leads Ads form. For example, it will be possible to download a brochure for a car or the prices of a product, directly from the Lead Ads form, without having to redirect to its website.

All these new features will be deployed in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. However, no launch date was communicated in the blog post.
